Disney Vacation Club villas are not cleaned every day. Housekeeping runs on a fixed cycle keyed to your check-in date, so your cleaning days are fully predictable, but Disney never emails them to you. Enter your dates below and get the exact schedule for your stay.

How the DVC cleaning cycle works
Counting your check-in day as Day 1:
- Stays of 7 nights or fewer: one Trash & Towel service on Day 4. That is the only scheduled visit.
- Stays of 8 nights or more: Full Cleaning on Day 4, Trash & Towel on Day 8, then the cycle repeats: Full Cleaning on Day 12, Trash & Towel on Day 16, and so on every 4 days.
- Stays of 3 nights or fewer: no scheduled housekeeping at all, since the first service day would be your checkout morning.
A 14-night stay, for example, gets exactly three visits: Full Cleaning on Day 4, Trash & Towel on Day 8, and Full Cleaning on Day 12, with nothing scheduled over the final two days.

- Beds made with fresh linens
- Bathroom cleaned
- Kitchen or kitchenette cleaned
- Dusting, counters wiped, and vacuuming
Between visits you are on your own, by design: villas have their own towels, a washer and dryer (or a laundry room for studios), and a kitchen or kitchenette. Extra towels and toiletries are available from Housekeeping on request. Paid extra cleanings were discontinued in 2021, so the scheduled visits are the only ones you will get.
Common questions
How often are DVC rooms cleaned?
DVC villas are not cleaned daily. On stays of 7 nights or fewer you receive one Trash & Towel service on Day 4, counting check-in day as Day 1. On stays of 8 or more nights you receive a Full Cleaning on Day 4 and Trash & Towel on Day 8, and the cycle repeats every 4 days for longer stays.
What is included in Trash & Towel service?
Trash is emptied and bin liners replaced, towels and bathroom linens are replaced, and toiletries, coffee, dish soap, and paper products are restocked. Beds are not made and bed linens are not changed.
What is included in a DVC Full Cleaning?
Everything in Trash & Towel service plus beds made with fresh linens, bathrooms cleaned, the kitchen or kitchenette cleaned, dusting, counters wiped, and vacuuming.
Can I pay for extra housekeeping at a DVC resort?
No. Disney eliminated paid add-on housekeeping for DVC stays in 2021 and has not brought it back. You can still request extra towels or toiletries from Housekeeping at any time.
Does the DVC cleaning schedule apply if I rented points?
Yes. The schedule applies to any stay booked on Vacation Points, including rented points, and to Member cash discount reservations. Regular cash reservations booked directly through Disney receive standard Deluxe Resort housekeeping instead.
