MagicPlanner.ai ("we," "our," or "us") provides a free Disney World crowd calendar, live wait times, and AI-assisted planning answers. We designed the service to work without accounts, logins, or personal profiles, so we collect very little information, and this Privacy Policy explains exactly what we do handle and why.

- No account registration, name, or email address is required or collected
- No payment information: the service is free
- No advertising profiles or cross-site tracking
Information Processed Automatically
Like most websites, our servers automatically process:
- IP address and browser/device information (used for security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting)
- Anonymous session identifiers
- Standard server logs (pages requested, timestamps, errors)
Information You Choose to Provide
- Trip dates: If you save trip dates, they are stored locally in your own browser (localStorage). They are not sent to our servers, except as context if you ask an AI question while a trip is saved.
- AI questions:Questions you type into the "Ask MagicPlanner" feature are sent to our servers and processed to generate an answer (see AI Features below). Please don't include personal information in your questions. It isn't needed.
AI Features
Some content on MagicPlanner.ai (such as the daily outlook, suggested answers, and planning responses) is generated using third-party artificial intelligence model providers. When you ask a question:
- Your question text (and trip dates, if you saved them) is sent to our AI provider solely to generate the answer
- We do not use your questions to build a profile of you, and we do not sell them
- Questions and answers are not stored in our databases; they may appear transiently in operational logs, which are automatically deleted
- AI questions are rate-limited per IP address to prevent abuse; rate-limit records expire automatically within about 48 hours
How We Use Information
- Operate the crowd calendar, live wait times, and AI planning features
- Generate answers to questions you ask
- Ensure platform security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce rate limits
- Diagnose errors and improve the service
- Comply with legal obligations
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent any information to third parties. We share information only with the service providers that run our infrastructure:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): backend hosting and data storage (United States, us-east-1)
- Vercel: website hosting and delivery
- Third-party AI model providers: process question text solely to generate planning answers
- Infrastructure monitoring services: error and uptime monitoring
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe such action is necessary to:
- Comply with legal obligations
- Protect our rights and property
- Prevent fraud or security issues
- Protect the safety of users
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure cloud infrastructure, and least-privilege access controls.
Data Retention
- Trip dates: Stored only in your browser; delete them anytime by clearing them on the site or clearing browser data
- AI questions and answers: Not stored in our databases; operational logs are retained for up to 30 days
- Rate-limit and session records: Expire automatically within about 48 hours
- System logs: Typically retained for 30–90 days for troubleshooting and security

We keep tracking to a minimum:
- Local storage: Used to remember preferences you set (such as saved trip dates) in your own browser
- Essential cookies/session data: Used only for basic site functionality and security
- No advertising cookies: We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes (for example, if we add advertising), we will update this policy and provide any required consent controls first.
Children's Privacy
MagicPlanner.ai is designed for users of all ages planning family vacations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
International Users and Data Transfers
MagicPlanner.ai is hosted in the United States. If you are accessing our service from outside the United States, please be aware that information processed by the service (such as IP addresses and AI questions) is transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers and service providers are located.
